This was my fourth safari to South Africa. I went to Mpeti anticipating a great buffalo hunt. I had that and a whole lot more. Unbelievable memories and life long friendships. The Jozini dam, four of the big five, crocodiles, hippos, and tiger fish fishing make this place unlike any other.

The landscape at Mpeti is amazing and having Jozini Reservoir in the background really is spectacular. The hunting was great, the lodging was very nice, food was tasty, and staff were very friendly. Being able to hunt an area with elephants and black rhinos and fish for tigerfish in between hunts provides a unique, next level experience.

At age 78, I was a little concerned about my first trip to South Africa. Well, let me say Mpeti was simply great. Nice facilities, great meals and most important, all the staff worked hard to meet your every need. I could not believe the abundance of different African animals and the opportunity to go fishing for tiger fish.
